Latinesque and vaguely Impressionistic
An engaging piano solo with a Latin feel, poco rubato, hints of Impressionism and popular jazz harmonies. Like all Kerin’s piano pieces it fits very nicely under the hand.
The sheet music includes a brief bio, form and analysis – and performance notes.
Composed for and premiered at the 2017 Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference in Adelaide.
